IT’S A GIRL!


Lewis:

I know i don’t normally post much, but today’s worth writing about. Today we went for our 20 week scan, it was the most exciting and nervous thing i’ve experienced so far. We got to find out the sex of the baby, it’s a girl, so they say. The umbilical cord was in the way to begin with so they couldn’t tell us if it was a boy or a girl, as it was wrapped between the legs. Then when we were outside waiting for the photo’s, the woman asked if we wanted to have another go at trying to tell the gender. Thankfully, this time the umbilical cord had moved for a few seconds to have a quick glimpse. We Were so lucky. She couldn’t see any obvious male genitals. I’m so excited because i’ve always wanted a daughter, and there’s only 20 weeks left. I’m so happy for us both and my girlfriend for all the hard work she’s doing, i love her loads.

Felicity:

Lewis has pretty much said everything i would have said. As he stated above, it was hard for the woman to tell the gender at first, but she managed to get a quick glimpse, and she thinks it’s a girl. I suppose we’re going to assume it’s a girl until birth says other wise!

I’m very happy we’re having a girl, and even happier that little girl was healthy and fine! We also received 4 scan pictures, and one turned out very clear, it was lovely, and i shall post a picture at the end of this post. Also, after we told my mum the news of the gender, she took us down to Matalan to buy her first outfit. She left the choice of choosing to me and Lewis. We chose pink cord dungarees, with a liccle kitty at the bottom, with a long white sleeved top underneath, it’s so cute! Mum also came across a very cute sleep suit, and bought it as a gift from her. It was Disney themed, from the Disney movie Bambi apparently. It has the little rabbit on it called thumper? I wouldn’t know, i haven’t seen many Disney movies. I mean.. i saw the Lion King for the first time when i was 17 (this year) haha.

We’ve wrote all this out already, and this is the second time doing so, as tumblr decided to direct us back to the dashboard as i JUST finished my post. So i’m kind of stressed and probably haven’t wrote everything i wanted to, as i re-wrote all i could remember :/ Sorry guys. I’m going to go for a lovely hot bath and let my stress floatttt away haha and i’ll leave you guys with some photos.. enjoy! :)
